Mindshake is very proud to present its debut full-length LP Ocean Between by Mindshake-exclusive artist Alexis Cabrera. After 8 years of cultivating top tier single releases, Mindshake is now stepping into the full-length arena. This is Alexis Cabreras latest offering after wowing with the Wherever EP [MINDSHAKE018]. As a self-taught musician, Cabrera started to experiment with music at a very young age spending six years in conservatory studies, where his music flourished. He performs exclusively live, singing his own material on the fly. Cabreras brand of unique, grooving but heady style of tech house has been moving dancefloors internationally, with releases on Mindshake, Great Stuff, Time Has Changed, among many others. After his debut Mindshake release, 2012 has kept Alexis busy with a European tour, notably playing in clubs like Watergate and Club der Visionaere in Berlin, while still finding time to focus on his debut album release.

Alexis Cabrera without any doubt has evolved into one of the most exciting artists in the renowned league of new Argentinean producers, just as his discography shows collaborations with credible international artists such as Barem, Someone Else, Kate Simko, Franco Cinelli, Jorge Savoretti, Matteo Spedicati, Violett, Ariel Rodz, Juan Zolbaran and Ronan Portela, among others. Cabrera's eager talent is not limited to dance floor oriented tracks, seen in his work under his CABRI alias, which is more suited for relaxing times. With his debut album, his focus is still firmly on the dancefloor, but elements of his formal musicianship study plays a key role in the flow of the album.
