The video was filmed using mainly a vintage 70s Super-8-format video camera, supplemented by digital footage - with the purpose to create the same kind of vintage atmosphere as the song with not many modern references, but still with small parts of more stylish digital shots to get a nice visual variation.

The video was shot on two main locations:

- The Guestroom, i.e. von Mehren's studio (and the garden outside the house) where he recorded his debut album.
- Mount Ulriken (including footage from the cable car going up the mountain), the tallest of the seven mountains surrounding the city of Bergen, von Mehren's hometown.
