Alex Band, the singer behind the mega hit "Wherever You Will Go," stopped by Good Day LA to talk about a fundraising event at Whiskey A Go Go to benefit the survivors of the Orlando shooting.

Band was the lead singer for the band The Calling, and said the 2001 song was inspired by a family member who passed away.
