The competition which was initiated in 2003 by Shure and the Montreux Jazz Festival Foundation supports young and upcoming jazz singers from all over the world. The head of the jury was Quincy Jones, and I was very happy to be one of the eleven singers, who were invited to Montreux from all over the world.
