Chords with add9 -- Beautiful and simple - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 28, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Major chords and minor chords can be dressed up easily (and simply) by using NINTHS. You will see how a "C add 9" chord is just a good old major chord with one added note (the "ninth"). In this lesson, you will learn how these "add9" chords are notated in sheet music, and you will learn how to play them. For music theory kooks, I explain (near the end) where the number "9" comes from, and why C9 is a different chord than Cadd9. Wild!
