DESCRIPTION:
Photographer Brian Slater was commissioned by core funders Kirklees Council to capture this magical day. Sound tracks provided by Alex Quinn & The Man In The Street (Holmfirth), Julian Socha (Heckmondwike), The Mavis Seed (Birstall) and The Blind Dead McJones Band (Leeds). They were four of the eighteen acts that performed on the day.

Great day. Well worth the 200+ mile trip

Haven't been to heckyfest last 2 years as away on hols... Excellent organisation and atmosphere this year. Plenty of activities for kids; programme & stewards providing good info; 2 bandstands & variety of bands make for constant entertainment with something for everyone. Please carry on with this, and maybe make it twice a year. Thanks for a great event.. Regards Jeannie & David from hecky
