This Ep delivers a fine example of todays late night techno sound. Title track Slingshot leans heavily towards a tribal groove, with beats built for the big room. It covers every square inch of the speaker with structured sweeps and a lead that defines what unison really does in a synthesiser. On the flip its another fine offering with "Love Distortion". Contending for peak-time airplay, it's a track that twists and turns effortlessly whilst retaining its momentum in every verse. Distortion truly is King!
The remix is supplied from Aciitones very own "Sourcecode", lets just say....this will work! There take on Slingshot can only be described as a peak time Techno roller, serving up a jack-knife bass line and a breakdown that will literally bend your mind.
