Aardvarck:
Over the years, Aardvarck (Mike Kivits) has built up a solid reputation of uncompromising quality and versatility in the dance scene, both underground and above. From Hip Hop, Disco, Funk, Jazz & New Wave in the early 80s upto the present ( together with Steven de Peven = RednoseDistrikt ) he's been moulding the avantgarde of all major dance styles.

Bloom:
Is a Kindred Spirits related label that has, as of yet, been exclusively used for the four Bloom releases by Mike Kivits aka Aardvarck.

Review:
Aardvarck sparks up another selection of dirty dub cuts for the third installment of his immense 'Bloom' series. This is the place where the hugely talented producer dispenses with his usual house predilections in favour of rudely smoked dub styles, crumbling dubstep, wonky hiphop and whatever samples take his fancy into a a slow-heaving mass of dutty club styles. The A-side messes with colourful synthline-driven wonk, ruffled in his inimtable fashion, while the flipside funks with a grindcore band before turning them into a halfstep moshing monster. Big tip!
