Accordion Crimes Interview - Literati Records Podcast Episode 99 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 25, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
With their latest release, Songs To Drive Wives Away, Accordion Crimes offers an amazing platter of Rodan-Shellac-Slint inspired music, that has become one of my favorite local releases ever.
The trio of Bryon, Bryan, and Son of Brian, has absorbed the essence of aluminum guitars, an acute use of dynamics, and an affinity for the seminal works of Merge and Touch & Go recording artists.
But their music may not appeal to everyone, and that's OK. However, those that it does touch, will most likely find it visceral, and somewhat cathartic.
It's the kind of music that gets scratched into your soul.
Or maybe it's just me. Give it a listen, and make up your own mind.
But be warned -- once heard, it can't be unheard, and it may affect how you perceive music from that moment on.
