DESCRIPTION:
Start of 24 Hour Race in UK Class 2CV at Spa 2014.

UK class is running modified 602cc 2cv engine.
Belgians run more powerful engines (up to 875 cc BMW bike engines) and change the body, generally 30 seconds quicker than UK Class a lap. They do not all start very fast so can keep up/ curse them at race start as on footage
.
In 2014 the VW Funcups joined for a 6 hour race and were MUCH quicker and can be seen coming through around 10 minutes into the clip despite starting half a lap behind.

Good news for me was they cleared a hole in the air so Lap 3 was quickest lap for the entire race for my car (and in the UK Class) despite a full tank of fuel. All down to the last minute of the lap from Stavelot when I was 2 seconds quicker than any other lap nearly with the tow..
