The ballad titled ‘Kite’ features the soulful vocals of singer-songwriters Corrinne May and Charlie Lim, while The T’ang Quartet adds emotional depth with their beautiful string performance.

‘Kite’ was jointly written by Corrinne and Charlie from the point of view of Singaporeans who live overseas, as both of them have spent a large part of their lives being away from Singapore. It explores the push-pull dynamics that overseas Singaporeans experience with the country, as well as the idea of how having the anchor of home allows one to fly higher and more freely.

“Sing, Love” is a music album that brings together many veterans and talents from Singapore’s music community to present five original compositions and accompanying music videos as a tribute and celebration of Singapore’s 50th year of independence in 2015. Produced by Red Roof Records and spearheaded by Ruth Ling (Executive Producer), the five songs – Come Back to You; Simply, Love; Kite; Love Sings; Starlight – illustrate the artistes’ unique interpretation of Singapore and what family and home meant to them.
