Concisely: Formed in 2006 as a duet between Ian Russell (Guitar) and Schmidt (Voice). Songs borne of spats. Stew Crookes (Pedal Steel) approached the duet with an idea, and so was made the EP Hold It Together (Independent, 2007). Russell got seriously sick, Schmidt went along for the ride. The two tried to distract themselves with keeping up the band. Played when they could. Rick White offered to record the record that later became Forest of Tears. Twelve practices prior to the 13 hour recording session at Rick's Elder Schoolhouse, saw Jonathan Adjemian (Organ), Paul Mortimer (Bass), Dave Clarke (Drums) get up in those songs, making the session something to be released in July of 2008 on Blue Fog Recordings. Time passes, people come and go, learn new things, recorded some 7" Records - 14th Floor and My Father's House. Put them out on Blocks Recording Club, and Deranged Records, respectively. More of those to come. Recorded the LP Songs of Man in November 2010, and that's coming out on Outside Music in May 2011. May 10 to be precise. More information at the above website. Full sentences.
