Hector's talent was spotted at a very young age and nurtured instantly. Starting of in the old skool garage scene Hector used to listen to artists such as So Solid and Heartless Crew, then practice his own material in youth clubs.



Alongside his cousin (Diggler) and a couple of friends, he formed a group called Regal Players whom in 2005 had a smash hit with a track entitled "Rudeboy".



In 2005 onwards Hector also took on the role as a roving reporter on the award winning Paul O'Grady Show, where he mingled with and interviewed many stars.



In 2008 Hector joined a collective called Play Entertainments. A team in which have their finger in almost ever pie, though are mainly focused in the forward movement of the UK Funky scene.



On his UK FUNKY side of things, Hector so far has vocalled a track with Coldsteps entitled "On Dis Ting" and is currently working on new material including a track for his signature "NUU TINGS" in which he also has a clothing brand formed!



2010+ sees Hector manage REGAL PLAYERS and focusing on his solo career!

If Ryan Hector Thomas has his way then one day it will be move over Will Smith, your day is over: Ryan Hector Thomas is in town! Already a well known face on the MC garage circuit, Ryan is helping to nurture MCs of the future by taking workshops once a week teaching kids how it's done. Whilst music may be HT's first love, his ambition doesn't stop there. A clothing label, TV and radio presenting, and even acting are on this man's list of things to do. He is also a teaching assistant in a private school.
