Angelo Romano is an acoustic singer-songwriter currently residing in Utrecht (Netherlands).

Born 1982 in a small-sized town in Western Sicily, Angelo has lived also in Pisa, Florence (Italy), Ottawa (Canada), Amsterdam and Groningen (Netherlands). A talented guitarist with a peculiar musical style inspired by Italian singer/songwriting as well as more traditionally bluesy, folk and pop-rock style à la Tom Waits or Damien Rice, all of this with an occasionally heavy and somehow harsh playing style, he self-released "The Dutch Album", eight songs inspired by his three-year period in the Netherlands, in April 2013.

A follow-up album named "Bitter Stories", whose idea came during a journey to Poland and a meeting with an art student in Kraków who collaborated to the creative process, was finally released on 21 October 2013. This was also followed by a two-week European tour together with trumpet player Giovanni Manunta, which touched countries such as Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. He left Berlin for good on November 2014, days after the release of his third album "Mental Tea".
