Eli M.(born 1980, Rotterdam) , better known by his stage name 173, is a Dutch/Moluccan rapper. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his song, De Vogeltjesbuurt, Since then, he is considered to be a driving force in bringing the Experimental Rap-scene and competing with many of his dutch counterparts.



Aside from releasing three mixtapes that debuted at number one on the 013 underground-billboard, 173 has gained notoriety for involvement in feuds with other rappers. His music falls under the experimental rap subgenre, a style of rap popularized in his hometown of Tilburg.
