Reed player and composer Ras Moshe, organizer of the Music Now series at New York City's Brecht Forum, led an ensemble there in the fall of 2008. Ras opens up in this excerpt on flute, with Mat Lavelle on bass clarinet, Saco Yasuma alto, Steve Swell trombone, Tom Zlabinger bass, John Sinton baritone,and Andre Martinez-Reed percussion.
