The Helsinki/Finland-based, 15 Minutes Before The Dive, came together in late 2007.
Like with many groups, these guys started off from scratch, just for the fun of it.
Only to realize some months later, that they had found their counterparts in the process.
With the aid of Mikko Jr. Pietinen, 15MBTD recorded their first demo, consisting of 4-songs, in early 2008.
After releasing these songs on their myspace, things started to roll rapidly, and before they knew, they had played a multiple of shows in the hometown of Helsinki, and had a steady following, spreading the word.
Come summer, 2008, the guys decided to make their first EP, and once again enlisted their good friends, Mikko and Kari St.Angervo-Huikuri, to help with the production. The 3-song EP, titled, "Fleece Is The New Black", was released on their myspace as a free download. It included songs, "Big Fish", "Im Achilles" and "Picture You".
Shortly after the release, 15MBTD started to stir interest also in the media, rapidly gaining new friends all over the world!
Right now, the group is finalizing the mixing of their debut album, produced by the same team as their highly acclaimed EP.
Being incredibly lucky to have such and amazing team of friends in helping this record to take shape, they hope to release it by the end of the summer 2010.
