I wrote this song over two months ago (all in one pretty emotional mess of a night). The riffs, the lyrics, and the vocals all came to me at once. It was pretty remarkable, but whenever shit happens to me, I somehow get my inspiration to write music and pour out what I'm feeling there. The result is this song, which should have been released sooner, but being sick and finals and life got in the way. Anyway, I hope you guys will enjoy this song and find it as catchy as I think it turned out!

BACKGROUND:
This song is for all the people who can't stop thinking about whether they're making (or made) the right choice about something (or someone).

I wrote this song about a girl who I knew liked me but I wasn't sure I liked back. I was obsessed over figuring out whether I actually liked her or not, to the point where I worried that I was leading her on by asking her to do more things so I could figure out if I did like her. This led to an internal struggle that kept me up for many nights: I could do nothing and move on with my life, but then I would never know if things would've worked out. To end this long story, I finally decided, "I'm done staying up all night wondering if I went about this right."

The song also relates to and gains some inspiration from Sweetie Belle in season 4's "For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils," in which she faces her own internal struggle of whether she did the right thing in ruining Rarity's dress for Sapphire Shores. She plays out the worst in her mind (well, Luna does) and is afraid of what might happen if she does nothing.
