Blue Zoo Cry Boy Cry - Live at Ginglik Shepherds Bush - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 22, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Live gig of Blue zoo at Ginglik Shepherds Bush

Blue Zoo emerged from the post-punk Blitz scene that defined the early 80's. Appearing initially under name of Modern Jazz, they brandished their glam influences (and eyeliner) with pride and shared with us a uniquely eclectic new wave/pop repertoire. A live act full of showmanship and brash-flash attitude saw them as forerunners to a number of bands, including Suede, Mansun and Republica in the 90's.

1982 saw them chart for the first time with the single I'm Your Man. The big hit Cry Boy Cry followed in the same year which was followed by the album 2 x 2 and further singles.

The band reformed in 2010 demonstrating that they are still an outstanding live act with a set list that slices its way clean into your memory. Check out the rest of this official site for all your Blue Zoo info, past, present and future.
