Jazz On The Move with Annie Sellick: "Them There Eyes" - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 19, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Here's a clip from one of NJW's wildly successful educational concert series, "Jazz On The Move," put on each year in partnership with the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, TN, where the majority of events take place. Presented by Nashville's top jazz artist/educators, the free series offers audiences world class music as well as an opportunity to learn more about jazz.

On Sunday, January 22, 2012, vocalist and Nashville favorite Annie Sellick kicked off the sixth season of the series in presenting "A Tribute to Anita O'Day," to a standing room only crowd - with help from trumpeter Rod McGaha and a swingin' rhythm section of Lori Mechem - piano, Roger Spencer - bass, and Josh Hunt - drums. Here's the group performing the classic "Them There Eyes."

The 2012 "Jazz On The Move" series was made possible with generous support from the Frist Foundation.
