Lady Gaga teases us with a new synthetic "ARTPOP" song snippet! What's up Little Monsters, you're home here at ClevverMusic. Just yesterday Lady Gaga officially dropped her R Kelly duet 'Do What U Want' and as if to thank her Monsters for making the song #1 on iTunes, she has today given us a peek at the new "ARTPOP" song. Posted to her Lady Gaga YouTube channel Mother Monster previews a 90 second clip of her "ARTPOP" title track, called "ARTPOP". Upon first listen the song has an electronic-synthy-digital beat and Gaga's vocals on the track are a bit distorted, and sound kind of like a robot. The "ARTPOP" tune is very 80's inspired and sings about what ARTPOP means to Gaga. The lyrics in the snippet sing, "Come to me, in all your glamour, and cruelty/ Just do the thing that you do/ And I'll undress you." She continues, "Give it tight, sometimes the simplest move is right/ The melody that you choose/ Can rescue you." And then it gets more obtuse! "A hybrid can withstand these things/ My heart can beat with bricks and strings/ My artpop could mean anything." And then the chorus repeats, "We could, we could, belong together (Artpop)". We already knew some of these lyrics as Gaga has teased us with them over the past year. Hearing more of the song doesn't make the message any clearer, but just exemplifies that art is subjective and can mean anything to anyone. You'll have to listen to this new groovy song and tell us what you think ARTPOP means? Thanks for watching ClevverMusic every day, I'm Misty Kingma and we can belong together, Artpop.
