Gabriel Karapatakis - fretless bass (Cyprus) , Hub Hildenbrand - guitar (Germany) and Zacharias Spyridakis - cretan lyra (Crete,Greece) met on their journeys through the music cultures of the world. Their musical backgrounds and experiences are merging in a unique chamber music sound aesthetics in a miraculous way. The trio is a cross-cultural jazz project of high authenticity. The interplay of the three very different musicians is surprising. Atmospheric and lyrical compositions meet the joy of improvisation, experimentation and interaction. Inspired jazz meets traditional folk-elements. Dynamic music beyond the usual, with Mediterranean colors and oriental fragrances.
