DESCRIPTION:
This is the slide show I put together with the song I recorded in honor of my father, George D. Brown, truck driver, WWII vet who passed away Nov. 11, 1991, twenty years already. It's all true! He really did say the highway spoke to him. The photo on the beach at Dieppe (0:45) is actually a photo of him, taken by German photographers in the aftermath. He swam back to England that night, but that's a whole n'other song!
