“You either step out and demand it all for yourself or you settle for nothing, I want it all and will settle for nothing less.” The preceding quote from Yung Sipp is how he describes his attitude towards his career in entertainment. With aspirations to conquer the world of entertainment and a ever growing fan base that love his Southern dipped West Coast swagger, the entertainment industry is predicting that Yung Sipp will soon be securing his spot at the top of the Hip Hop Industry.

Yung Sipp was born and raised in the Southern City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and from as far back as he can remember he had a great passion for music. As he grew up Yung Sipp had a wide range of musical influences that included legendary Southern MC’s Scarface and UGK as well as West Coaster’s like Snoop Dogg. These influences inspired Yung Sipp to begin writing music and as early as his 7th grade year of school Yung Sipp was spending entire days writing down the lyrics that were flowing through his head. As soon as he got out of school for the day Yung Sipp would practice his flow in front of his friends by reciting the lyrics he had written for hours at a time. As he grew older Yung Sipp continued to perfect his flow and writing.

After joining the Marines and on his second deployment to Iraq Yung Sipp connected with three other soldiers and all four would freestyle and begin creating songs together as they went out on patrols. These sessions would begin to build a solid buzz for Yung Sipp in and around the Marine base as a serious artist that the other soldiers would seek out just to hear his newest songs. After returning to Camp Pendleton in 2004 Yung Sipp and the other three soldiers formed the group “SouthUNoyz.” As a team the group was unstoppable and they went on to record and release The Mason Dixon Movement (2005), So Southern N Da West Vol.1 (2006), and So Southern N Da West Vol. 2 (2008). With each new release the group continued to build a buzz in the Southern California region and were honored with appearances in not only The San Diego Reader but also featured along side Main Stream artists; KISS, Ted Nugent, JA Rule, and Destiny’s Child on the “Rockin The Corp’s DVD.”

In 2009 despite the ever-growing buzz surrounding the group, Yung Sipp decided to set out on his own and prove his worth as a solo artist. The response to his solo songs has been amazing and with his new song “501 Jeans” dominating clubs and radio from San Diego to Mississippi Yung Sipp is bridging the gap between the West Coast and The South. From Mississippi to California Yung Sipp is moving through the United States, freshly dipped in his 501’s, he is taking the entertainment business by force.
