Julia van der Toorn - Oops!... I Did It Again - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 06, 2013
DESCRIPTION:

I Did It Again'.

This is one for the books. Wat een aanwinst ! Felicitaties aan Team Marco Borsato.

For Julia's fans abroad I frantically scribbled alongside the original video :) and came up with the following translation:
===============================================
Julia had the judges chairs turn around after just a few words into her 'blind audition': 'Oops!... I did it again' (Britney Spears in Kina Grannis's version)

When the song was done, she told the judges she was only seventeen, and they were even more in awe of her talent.
Marco Borsato (handsome guy in the blue suit) ;) told her that every once in a blue moon, someone very special would come along, and how special it was to fill up a room with just a voice and a guitar. He told Julia how much potential she had already, she could do anything. (remember: at this time the judges all tried to win her over to come join their team) In his team she would be the absolute top, hands down. Even when this show would be over, he'd still would be there for her: 'Once in Team Borsato, always in Team Borsato', he said.

(this is not in this video but in the actual broadcast which we can't put up, due to copyrights)

Furthermore, Trijntje Oosterhuis told Julia she had impeccable timing. She had the utmost respect for that young girl up there that performed with just a guitar, her voice and a mere baseline. According to her, Julia nailed her audition.

Rapper Ali B. (the guy with the curly, long hairdo) told Julia after the first performance (Oops! I did it again) how rare it was for a song to get upgraded like this. And although he's extremely proud of the choices he already made for his team, she would be a real asset.

The pretty blond; Ilse DeLange, told her she would love to be a part of the musical journey Julia was about to begin, but one way or the other, this was bound to happen. The adventure would take place with or without her in it, she said, but it would make her so very happy and proud if she could only be of some significance.

Julia chose Marco Borsato to be her coach and guidance. He was over the moon with joy, cuddled her tightly and told her how happy he was and how she would be the highlight of this seasons 'The Voice Of Holland.'

When Julia was done performing, she gave an extra performance in response to the enthusiastic demand by both audience and coach Marco.

That's when Julia stepped back up on stage and performed: Empire State of Mind ('New York') - Alicia Keys.

The crowd went mad, Ali B. dropped dead, afterwards complaining no one came to his rescue. Coach Marco mildly cursed ;) Backstage, TV hosts Martijn and Wendy wanted to see Julia's sensational performance for themselves, live on stage.

During all this you can hear Trijntje say how beautiful it all is. Marco thinks this is 'out of this world' and at the end of her song, he assures her once again that this is the beginning of something really, really wonderful...
