Yoshimoto is a 4 person musical ensemble based out of San Antonio Texas that has been playing since November 2004. Frequently compared to the musical stylings of the influential Sonic Youth, Yoshimoto's tour de force lies in their live performance. Loud, Noisy, dissonant guitars and drums work as a face to a progressive and independent make up and substructure. Yet, the music is not exclusive. With influences ranging from San Antonio's own artistic community, to anything out of the DC label Dischord's earlier releases, and the invention and re-invention of contemporary sound we own our affinity to music and will not admit to anything other.



Collectively, Yoshimoto has had years of musical experience with each member having performed "professionally", or otherwise, the majority of their life times. We enjoy sound for its aesthetic and potential.
