YAKSA

Yaksa-a leading METALCORE band from Beijing, China. We formed in Sichuan, 1995. Wanting more creative freedom and further development, we moved to Beijing two years after our formation. In 1999, we were signed to Scream-Records together released our first album 'Freedom' a year later. 'Freedom' was simultaneously considered as the most premier and eloquent metalcore album in China. Our second album 'FUCK FUCK FUCK', which released by Scream-Records in 2003, showed our faith in presenting more swift and powerful metalcore style by applying a variety of innovative musical elements.

To keep on amplifying the voice of YAKSA as well as the voice of CHINA METALCORE, we have recently released an EP 'KEEP ON FIGHTING' in July 2006.
