The revelation of the song comes from 1Chronicles 4:10 a prayer by Jabez to God asking Him to bless him and enlarge his territories. God also promised the israelites they shall be blessed in their going in and in their coming out as long as they were obedient to God in Deutronomy 28:6.The song is a reminder of the promises God gave us.And as King David prayed ''May you guide my steps and light my path".Psalms 119:105.
