DESCRIPTION:
This new ep THE FLAT FIELD by Roberto Milanesi and Cesare Ferioli is the sequel of the former release ''The Forest'' (SOUNDIVA,2011) and it's aim is to keep diggin' deep into emotional fields of ecstasy and fear , joy and sense of loss , to create imaginary movies' soundtrack or to give a sound to real life situations wether lived or just dreamed in a dream or a disturbing nightmare.
The roots of their collaboration belong to 1981 wen they used to play in a band called UXIDI DC , strongly inspired by the Dada movement , performing some Punk mixture with acid and obsessive themes in a direction that will be recognized after as Post-Punk.
Now after more than 30 years the collaboration continues, exploring electronic music with no genre boundaries as stated in this new work moving from Lounge, Chill Out, House and Ambient flavors.

Con questo nuovo ep THE FLAT FIELD il duo di produttori italiani Milanesi-Ferioli creano un ponte ideale con la precedente release 2011 "The Forest" (SOUNDIVA) continuando a scavare nell'immaginario interiore delle sensazioni più intime quali estasi, fobia, gioia e senso di perdita per creare ideali sonorizzazioni di ipotetici film ed ambientazioni viste e vissute o puramente immaginate.
Le radici collaborative del duo risalgono al 1981 quando insieme formavano la band Uxidi DC dedita ad un punk performativo, fortemente ispirato al teatro Dada ed alle sonorità acide, ipnotiche ed ossessive tipiche di quello che sarebbe stato chiamato a posteriori Post-Punk.
Ora a distanza di più di trent'anni la collaborazione di Roberto Milanesi & Cesare Ferioli continua all'insegna dell'esplorazione elettronica senza limiti di genere come testimonia questo nuovo EP che li vede spaziare tra lounge, chill out, house ed ambient.
