I'm using an Arduino Uno with the e-Health sensor shield and a pulse oximeter sensor. The Arduino is putting out a 5v trigger signal at heard pulse frequency (for a modular synth). The Arduino sends the frequency to a Pure Data patch witch sends out OSC messages.
