From their second album; I decided to upload this because of the inordinate levels of LOVE expressed for the first one I uploaded back in January, and because - with only ONE song here dedicated to "The Prince of Darkness"? It proves conclusively ...

IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT SATAN

... seriously, Lucifer's Friend were a metal-pop-jazz-classical group of such enormous talent that maybe they never decided where exactly they should head, winding up recording a number of albums that mostly ROCK but don't necessarily fit cleanly within the genre boundaries consumers have been trained to expect!

But they started out by practically inventing Doom Metal, and if you don't throw in some references to witchcraft, damnation, Our Dark Lord, and suchlike, is that gonna work?

NOT HARDLY

sincerely,
bonze anne blayk

PS: I'm only including Side The First because that's the only one I listened to Back When. SORRY (not).

PPS: Oops, Got Doom? "Let the needle kiss my vein!", √, let's throw in "heroin" too!
