Please welcome Lizzie B to Phunky Rabbit for her debut world single. I was introduced to Lizzie B by Yvonne in 2016 and instantly picked up on her bubbly, sparkly, glitzy personality and i had that in mind when i sent her this backing track. She did not disappoint and delivered her vocals to perfection with the help of Yvonne and Eddie 'Eaze' Coleman .... but who better to tell us her background than Lizzie herself so here you go ....

Lizzie B (aka Elizabeth B. Zebrowski) was born and raised in New York City and the Eastern End of Long Island. She is a musician, a writer and an artist. This songstress studied classical guitar at New York City’s Bloomingdale School of Music starting at the age of nine. Singing naturally followed and went hand in hand with playing the guitar. Music has always been the driving force and inspiration behind everything that she has done and has propelled her into exploring other creative venues. She started out interning in the Publicity Department at Rolling Stone Magazine thinking that this might be the closest to the music scene that she would be able to realistically become part of. Here she learned event planning and started honing in on her writing skills. Afterwards she went into the radio industry where she learned studio production, participated in various live remotes and became a Disc Jockey. This experience led her to becoming a part of New York City’s fashion and beauty stylist scene, culture and night life and she found freedom on the dance floors of its iconic night clubs. She was fascinated by creative culture and the various DJ’s that were flying in from around the world to present their musical sets. This all led up to her starting her first blog. She then became the Director of Special Projects for an online fashion and lifestyle magazine where she edited and managed a team of writers. After leaving, she revamped her original blog Newyorksparklegirl.com and made New York City her beat with her “off the beaten path” style. Her flair for writing has led her to create a virtual hub where music, events and fashion all meet and she is known for her tag line “Serving Up What’s Hot Without the Dish.” She never gave up on her dream for music while working and was introduced to powerhouse vocalist, songwriter and producer Yvonne, known for her dance club hits worldwide, such as “One Kiss,” “Set Me Free,” “Over N Over,” and “Don’t You Know.” She became Lizzie B’s vocal coach and guided her, bringing out her sultry, feline vocals that are her signature style. She was introduced by Yvonne to Malc East, the founder of Phunky Rabbit Records and all of the hard work has lead up to her debut release of “Starlight.” According to Lizzie B, “Life is all about the journey. You might end up taking some detours, but you will always end up where you belong...where your heart leads you to. For me, that place is music!”

On the remixes Lucius Lowe uses her vocals so well to fit them into his unique soulful style. Rampus, as always, hits the disco orientated style with outstanding production skills. Quality always guaranteed. Mickey K treats us all to a delightful flamenco style remix. I am loving this approach. Welcome also to the label Ryan Rauert who goes and alternative way, using the chorus vocal parts to create a haunting atmosphere for his mix which i know will work so well in the clubs.

Big up to my bro, Eddie 'Eaze' Coleman, for recording Lizzie's vocals in his New York studio. Much appreciated.
