Formé en 98, WRENSH est un trio Hardcore-Punk Rock and Roll, from Annemasse (74), influencé par des groupes tels que Sick of it all, Agnostic Front, Black flag, The Bronx, S.O.D, F-minus, D.R.I, Zeke, R.D.P, Bad brains, The Misfits, Minor Threat mais aussi Slayer ou encore Motorhead. La musique est rapide, courte, intense et directe, bien dans la veine de ce courant musical très important du début des année 80 et qui découle directement du punkrock anglais.
WRENSH a ainsi, depuis ces débuts, croisé le fer (ou plutôt le "metal") avec des groupes aussi différents dans le genre hardcore, punk, rock & roll, noise, grind, ska, metal que YA BASTA, NO ONE IS INNOCENT, DOPPLER, MOTOCROSS, ONE DIMENSIONAL MAN, NOISE SURGERY, PREJUDICE, TANG, SHUNT, DEJECTED,
