Chorus:
Who your love for? A Phi A
And above all? A Phi A
You lost sleep for? A Phi A
And took heat for? A Phi A
Swam the Nile for? A Phi A
And walked miles for? A Phi A
You crossed sands for? A Phi A
Throw up your hands for! A Phi A

Verse I:
Since 1-9-0-6, we've been in the mix, so fresh, so sick
Started off with seven jewels, who refused to lose, made their own rules
First (black) college fraternity, love for humanity, scholarship, manly deeds
Always in black and gold, always so bold, always too cold
The rebels from Cornell, it's the talented tenth, look it ain't hard to tell
The path is narrow, we sharp as arrows, descend from pharaohs
Leaders from the start, politics to art, see the love's in our heart
We do original things, with original swing, the original kings!

Verse II:
Chapter to chapter, sub zero's the factor, you feel the rapture
Pioneers to activists, you see the activeness, there's none after this
Overcome fears and tears, we've been holding up the light for 100 years
It's the test of man, for the best of man, no contest my man (nah)
Check the fame and claim, to be the light of the world is our number one aim
Leaders of today, no not a cliché, humble is the way (hey)
The mothers hug us, the ladies love us, there's none above us
We second to no other and no matter the weight, he's not heavy, he's my brother!

Verse III:
We party hard, we stay up late you see but most of all we graduate
First pop our collars, make the ladies holler, them scholars making dollars
No substitute in a suit but we can keep it rugged in some jeans, tees and boots
Step on the scene so clean, on our arm is a sister laced in pink and green
You can catch us any season for some reason we stay freezing
Leaders in the game, just check the name it's the Alpha Train
No dispute, we're cute, don't hate -- appreciate and respect your roots
Always lead the way cause we're here to stay till our dying day!
