Biography
The Woodland Creatures are an acoustic folk duo, based in Norwich. They are currently recording an album set for release in summer 2013.

'The 'Creatures are one the city's most exquisite live acts. There are roots in traditional music here with vocals intertwining above banjo and guitar (amongst the odd bodhran and djember) - but this is not dungarees and cider, but beautifully engaging original songs, delivered with tenderness and immediacy. Always enchanting at the music house, their performances engage the room in near-effortless fashion, yet never lose sight of the riotous fun they are clearly having at every turn.'- The Music House acoustic sessions.

'Housemates lizzy and christina have created the softest, and most traditional, of folk music around. With their mulit-instrumental set up (banjo, bodhran, djembe, baby accordian and more) The Woodland Creatures evoke rural simplicity with an earthy sense of pagan ideals. The term 'the olden days' has never felt more appropriate in the track 'Highland Whistle', from their debut e.p. Picture a wind-kissed young maiden, a stormy coastal moor and a collection of tin whistles and your there. The Woodland Creatures are committed to polishing the tarnished roots of folk music and displaying them on the proverbial mantelpiece of our minds - a bewitching band with the keenest understanding of folk.' - Fine City Magazine
