I created this demo in 2011, when I was 20 years old. I never "finished" this demo because in 2013, I fused it with amnaeon. I recorded and mixed everything with Cubase 6, but I began writing songs for this album in 2009. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the original versions. Most of these songs have evolved into music that I am still working with on Hungry Lights

With this album, I had just got the MXL 9000 condenser mic and preamp that I still currently use, so the vocals are just recorded better in general.

Track listing:
1. Reflaugh
2. Sheep
3. Only Tired When I'm Underwater
4. Feature Length Show
5. Travels
6. L.O.S
7. The Footsteps Of Bladth'heirtra
8. Mirrored

This demo originally had nothing to do with The Mourn. It was its own story on its own planet, but in the same story universe. It was about a space pilot named, "Reflaugh" who crash-landed his ship on an alien planet. He went to find help, and these bird creatures offer assistance if he will kill the leader of their enemy, "Bladth'heirtra" who is a giant mountain troll. Reflaugh accepts the task, but fails. As a result, he has to flee from the behemoth into a deadly jungle.

While in the jungle, he meets a caravan of people who need to be escorted through the jungle. He offers help if they are willing to help him with his spaceship. While going through the jungle, they are attacked by mutant plants and these frog creatures. To make things worse, Bladth'heirtra catches up. Reflaugh meets a raccoon-fisherman named "Artorn" who is willing to give him a ride down the river so that hey can escape, but only if the captain is willing to return the favor...

Because I never finished the project, the story somewhat stops progressing there. It ends with Reflaugh losing his sanity.

Fun fact: I came up with most of the names in my stories by speaking gibberish.

Fun fact: The name "Wolfpit Drive" was a street that I drove by on the way to my dad's house in Connecticut. I thought it sounded like a wicked cool band name. So, I used it.

Fun fact: This demo was where I first realized that I did not need a band to bring the music I heard in my head to life.

Fun fact: I wrote "Breach" in my head, during a college class because I was bored and uninterested in whatever the teacher was teaching.

All songs written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Justin Bonitz.
Album art by Justin Bonitz.

Never compare your chapter 1 to somebody else's chapter 20.
