昨年の10月、1stミニアルバム『D』で新たな音楽的な試みを見せてソロ歌手としての深い感性を披露したキム・ドンワンが、2ndミニアルバム『W』で帰ってくる。
今回のミニアルバム『W』のタイトル曲「DU DU DU」は、神話10thアルバムの収録曲「Be My Love」を作業した作曲家イ・ユジンと感性的な音楽で数多くのマニアファン層を持っている‘Standing Egg’が作ったミディアムテンポの曲で、ずっと友達でいた彼女に愛を感じるようになった彼のときめく気持ちを歌った曲である。

지난 10월, 첫 번째 미니앨범 ‘D’로 새로운 음악적 시도를 보여주며 솔로 가수로서의 깊은 감성을 선보였던 김동완이 두 번째 미니앨범 ‘W’로 다시 돌아온다.

이번 미니앨범 ‘W’의 타이틀 곡 ‘DU DU DU’는 신화 10집 수록곡 ‘Be My Love’를 작업한 작곡가 이유진과 감성적인 음악으로 수많은 마니아 팬 층을 형성하고 있는 스탠딩 에그가 만든 미디움 템포의 곡으로, 줄곧 친구로만 지내던 이성에게 사랑의 감정을 느끼게 된 남자의 설레는 마음을 노래한 곡이다.
