SNOWDEN is a track that developed from one of Alex's bass riffs, involving a hair-tie. The technique involves placing the Hair-tie around the 12th fret harmonic, giving the tapped notes an enhanced harmonic quality.

This track was named SNOWDEN in dedication to NSA whistle blower Edward Snowden. The Sombre tune signifies the isolation he faces living in exile.

The track was originally developed in jam sessions in 2013, with the bass part Being tracked at Kypo's house in January 2014.

Drums were recorded at UWS studio A in September 2014. With the guitars being recorded in UWS studio B in October 2014.

Guitar solos were recorded at Kypo's house in February 2015, using a Mesa Roadking into a Mesa Cab Clone. An Ulbrick Phataxe pedal was used for a little bit of colour and drive. Solo's 1 and 3 were improvised, and ultilize Kypo's broken arpeggio approach. The 2nd solo recorded on an Ovation acoustic with a Sustainiac unit attached to the headstock, making the instrument feedback and sustain. Additional reverb and delay was added in post production. Intro guitar has a uses a Sustainiac stealth unit with an Eventide Space ex pedal. No Keyboards were used on this track.

Live Footage was taken at the various recording session on a Canon 5D mk 2 DSLR.
