Hi I’m Budi from the band Wicked Aura, previously known as Wicked Aura Batucada. We’ve been a band for more than 10 years. We started our street performing and busking in the heart of downtown Orchard Road, Singapore back in 2003.

Within this 12 years, we’ve put out 1 album and got to tour around the world. Our demo tape of our single “Fight” was even shortlisted in the top 20 list of the BBC’s Next Big Thing in 2007. As much as we’re pretty happy with being ritmistas it wasn’t long before the urge to venture into bolder sonic territories and to bring fun and energy to a whole another level.

This is the reason why I’m talking to you right now.

We have plunged headlong into the deconstruction of the percussion rhythms and mixed them up in a musical genre blender just to see what comes out. We’ve worked hard for the last 5 years and it took us 2 re-recordings to release this collection of songs that make up our 2nd full length album entitled "Beginning The End". The entire album has been recorded, mixed and masted with our own money thus far.

Now… The band needs your help!
