DESCRIPTION:
John Hartford at Gene Goforth's house with some of the Goforth Family and Friends. Probably sometime between 1990 and 1992.

John tries to coax Gene to play an old tune that "Dink" Goforth (Gene's Dad) played called "White River". Gene hasn't played it much for years and is reluctant to play it but finally does after switching fiddles and going to an alternate tuning. "Rye Whiskey" is also played in this alternate tuning.
