DESCRIPTION:
I whisky Trail sono stati tra i primi gruppi a suonare musica di ispirazione celtica, hanno cominciato nel 1975 ed è il gruppo di questo tipo in attività da più tempo in Italia.
Qui abbiamo tre Reel irlandesi: The walls of Limerick, Twa bonnie maidens e Upstairs in a tent.
Il primo è tratto dal repertorio per cornamusa della banda dei Royal Irish Rangers, un reggimento stazionato a Belfast, il secondo è la strofa di una canzone giacobita scozzese che narra in maniera ironica le vicende del principe inglese Charles Edward Stuart nell'isola di Skye, nel nord della Scozia ed è tratta dalla raccolta "The Songs of Scotland"di Charles Mc Kay del 1877 e il terzo è un tradizionale irlandese. Dall'album "Dies Irae" (1982).
