So many rock bands, fed up with post this and post that, new-rave-indie-neo-punk-hardcore crossover bands and relentless mind-numbing pop look to the heady days of the 70's and 80's for inspiration but unfortunately just end up being another carbon copy of Led Zeppelin or Motley Crue. Whiskey & Lace, on the other hand, take what made the likes of Zep and Crue great and drag it kicking and screaming into the 21st century, combining the showmanship and musicianship of the great rock bands with a modern dynamic that just can't be ignored.

Whiskey & Lace is Guns N' Roses and The Darkness in a scotch-soaked riff showdown, it's Bon Jovi and Nickelback in a bare-knuckle street fight over who has the biggest hooks, it's Aerosmith and Foo Fighters scrapping tooth and nail for stadium supremacy. It's Classic Rock for the Top Shop generation.

Whiskey & Lace finalised the 5 guys to take the band to the top at the beginning of 2010 and have already set the hard rock scene alight as well as sharing the stage with the likes of Heavens Basement, New Device, Dear Superstar, Million Dollar Reload, The Treatment, Man, FM and The Crave. After gracing venues all over the UK in the latter half of 2010, the highly ambitious quintet are looking for bigger and better things, buoyed by the unprecedented support they've accrued in such a short space of time. With extensive touring planned from January 2011 right the way through the year, and plans for a full E.P. to be recorded and released in the summer, it's only a matter of time before Whiskey & Lace achieve their goal of playing their brand of high-octane rock and roll to mass audiences across the globe.
