Whatever It Takes

Formed in 2004:
ONE FALSE MOVE started off as a side project of OUTCAST
which featured Timme(guitar), Nico(bass) & Nick (Drums).
With the metalcore sound of Outcast, both Timme & Nick started writing more moshy and less technical songs in their free time, more NYHC influenced, back to their old days. They recruited Geoffrey (bassplayer of Outcast) as vocalist and began playing shows in the area.Due to internal & musical differences, Geoffrey decided to quit this project.
After several weeks had past, Timme called Hans (ex DIE MY DEMON vocalist) out of the blue and expressed his interest in getting 'One False Move' back together. They rounded up their old lineup and started with a clean sheet under a new name 'WHATEVER IT TAKES'. News of their unbridled energy and destructive live show spread immediately around the hardcore scene and the band was courted by 'Filled With Hate Records', signing a deal for a first split-release with KING OF CLUBZ(based out of the Quad cities Iowa/Illinois USA)
The songs for the split-cd were recorded over a month-long time span and is one of the most brutal, destructive, and raging hardcore in quite some time.
Musically, 'Whatever It Takes' pulls their influences from bands like Fury of Five, Next step up, All Out War.
While their actual writing style is based more on mood & feeling. Each song tells a different story, and most of them are a big middle finger to someone or something.
The music could be described as an intense mix of hardcore and metal styled guitar riffs, double bass with crew vocals. It's raw, heavy, uncompromising, intense heavy hardcore with dedicated people…true till death!
In the beginning of 2006 Nico decided to quit the band, Pieter OC replaced him.
After a Euro tour in March/April 2006, the split is now sold out and it was high time for some new HARDcore tunes, which are the perfect soundtrack for the summer 2006-months. (So dust yourself off, fill a bucket with ice and some bottles of beer, ask you friends over for a party/BBQ and have a blast with these second album called "DHM")
This first "full" length album is in vein of the first split-cd.
With the rise of the nu-metal scene in the past few years, along with the so-called fashion core movement in the hardcore scene, 'Whatever It Takes' was coming back with a new piece of musical intensity that shows they will take no part in any of these current trends
Listen and judge for yourself ! Expect a blast, nothing more, nothing less!
Years pass and other goals in life go by, but in 2012 'Whatever It Takes' rises again with a masterpiece called 'Chasing The Rush' also released by FWH records. It's definately the hardest and realest record they could come up with. This is 'tear everything apart'-music with intensive lyrics, blasts & breakdowns. Check us out live!!
