Retaliate

RETALIATE is a six-piece unit born out of the hate against a nation that embraced their future with a judas kiss.



In 2000, the band was formed & the first demo "W.A.R." was recorded at Studio 13. The tape sold out in no time and a shitload of shows were played to spread the hatred.



The years after were marked by line-up changes until the new solid line-up recorded the split with their DHM-crew bro's OUTCAST which has been released on DHM records in 2003.



At the end of 2003, Retaliate teamed up with Filled With Hate Records and early 2004 the first creation of this collaboration, the 7 song debut MCD "dead in the eyes of salvation", was released.



2004 turned out to be a great year. In support of the mcd, Retaliate played at the Pressure Fest, Goodlife Fest and for the second time on Ieper Fest. Also a lot of gigs outside belgium were done (France, Holland, Germany).



Early 2005 Retaliate started writing the new full lenght for FWH records and in may the CCR Studio (Aborted, Congress, Betzefer) was entered.



On september 23th the cd was released in Belgium together with First Alliance & Embraced By Hatred. A week later a sold-out German release show followed with DMD, COA, Nasty & many more.



In support of the cd, Retaliate did a 8 day underground club tour through Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Holland.



Retaliate is now focussing on more tour plans and shows, so expect many more warzones to follow.
