DESCRIPTION: Luksus was an acclaimed Danish indie band formed in Copenhagen in the winter of 1994 by Mikael Simpson (gtr. vox. perc.) , Lise Westzynthius (vox. & piano) and Georg Rune Andersen (bass). In 1995 Henrik Vibskov (drums) was added. The foursome released a self titled EP in 1997 on Danish record label Lidocaine. In 1998 they released the debut album "Repertoire" also on Lidocaine. The group was disbanded in May of 2001. Both Mikael Simpson and Lise Westzynthius has continued with their own solo projects.
