DESCRIPTION:
From 2005 to 2009 I had the good fortune of playing bass in Jacksonville rock band Something Distant. We played many shows in and around Northeast Florida during that time. The line up consisted of Jeff Congo on Vocals and Guitar, Jon Kretzer on Drums, Tony Scozzaro on Guitar, Wes Arvin on Guitar and Background Vocals and me, John Palmer, on Bass and Background Vocals. In 2005 we headlined the Jacksonville Landing for the Florida Georgia Football game. Some of those pictures are included in this video. I believe 99% of the photography seen here is from photographer Chris Condon, as special thanks to him for his work over the years with us. In 2008 we released a self titled debut recording with six original studio tracks and 3 live tracks. "Gravity" was one of the songs from that recording. The final studio version can be heard here on this video. Produced, recorded and mixed by Lu Rubio and Jeff Congo. The band continues on today with the only original member Jeff Congo on vocals.
