Just a simple one for you guys this week. This is a track I've wanted to do for a while, and while, yes this is a bizarre track from my first dedicated Earthbound cover, it's possibly my favorite? It's just so catchy, quirky, and above all, groovy. It's really wacky sounding in the original so naturally I was really interested in how it could sound on guitar. I ultimately felt doing anything metal with this would be a mistake so I went straight funk/jazz with it. Or at least my best. It's been a while since I did anything with improv solos so I'm a bit rusty but it's okay because it's a weird cover.
I'll get back to this game when I finish a bit more of it. It's pretty vast. I wish I played it as a kid...
