Crusin' For A Bluesin'- by Andy Weiner. Performed by Miami Valley Academy Jazz Lab Band #2 (Elite group). This has an AMAZING section written for saxes ONLY!!!

I converted this over from being on a tape cassette to a CD track. This was a jazz workshop, under the direction of the great saxophonist/clarinetist, Hal Melia, back in 1994 when I was a senior in high school. I played both Lead and 2nd Trombone in this 18-20 piece ensemble. We rehearsed once a week for 2-3 months in a music room at University of Dayton, and performed a concert at the end. I played along with fellow high school students from the Greater Dayton area. I was from Lebanon, Ohio. We all learned a great deal and had fun playing together!
