episode 2: John Statz featuring "World of War" by Blake Thomas

"All of The Hats" is a blog dedicated to sharing stories of creative people. We are not only songwriters and musicians but sidemen, teachers, promoters, booking agents, parents, road warriors, homebodies...we wear all of the hats.

John Statz played a show right in our living room a few weeks back. It was awesome - I wish I got some good footage of the music. John has been a friend in this world of songwriters for a few years. He just put out a new record entitled "Tulsa" - it's excellent.

John is a songwriter, a reader of presidential biographies, and he likes to cook. He's also a road warrior and makes times for random side-jobs like running a airBNB in Denver. Denver - the new Amsterdam.

In this little video, we came together to sing a Blake Thomas song, "World of War". Blake is a mutual friend of ours and John and I are in agreement that this song needs to be heard by millions.
