Earthquaker swore years ago that they would never make a Tubescreamer clone, but when they decided the time had come to break their promise, they vowed to break it in a most spectacular fashion. The Palisades absolutely exhausts every possible 'screamer mod in one pedal, with popular, time-tested options like a switchable input buffer, brightness switch, and built-in boost, as well as the innovative addition of dual rotary switches -- "Bandwidth" for changing the value of the input cap, and "Voice" for controlling the clipping diode configuration. These rotary switches exponentially increase the Palisades' voicing and drive possibilities far beyond anything yet conceived of. But we're not done yet - Earthquaker also added footswitchable A and B gain channels and footswitchable boost, elevating the possible tonal combinations available on the Palisades to a positively mind-boggling 480!
